This year, AAJA SF is awarding up to $8,000 in scholarships to talented student journalists. You don’t have to be a journalism or mass communications major to apply, but you must be able to demonstrate a strong intent to pursue journalism. Students are generally selected for Bay Area scholarships based on their commitment to journalism, journalistic ability, sensitivity to Asian Pacific American issues as demonstrated by community involvement, financial need and scholastic achievement.
Our scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of sponsors, AAJA SF members and locals who support our fundraisers. Thanks to you for making this possible.
To apply, download scholarship application here. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2012. You can also email organizers Susanne Brunner at email@example.com or Stephanie Chuang at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a copy via email.
