We know the price tag for the 2010 National AAJA Convention can add up, so the San Francisco Chapter is offering grants to help. We'll award up to 10 grants of $300 each to help cover convention costs. Download the grant application at www.aajasf.org/grants, fill it out and send it in. You can also email board member Katherine Tam at tam_kath@hotmail.com to request a copy of the application. The application deadline is May 15. We'll notify recipients by June 1. This year's National Convention is Aug. 4-7 in Los Angeles. Find out what workshops and speakers are planned at www.aaja.org, where you also can register. Registration is $300 for members and $150 for student members through June 18. Registration on-site at the convention is $375 for members and $200 for student members.
