Mother Jones’s Ben Bagdikian Fellowship closes this Sunday, April 1 for fellowships beginning June 1. Each fellowship lasts six months. Students who are currently in school are ineligible for this fellowship.

This is a paid fellowship with a monthly stipend of $2,275. The fellowships currently open are the editorial fellowship with placements in San Francisco and Washington, DC and the online editorial fellowship in San Francisco.

CNBC is seeking fellows for their postgraduate Newsroom Fellowship Program. Fellows will work on the Closing Bell desk as well as with CNBC’s digital outlets.

The program will run from June to December 2018 and is located in CNBC’s New York offices.

Some news from our friends at the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ): Early Bird Registration for the NAHJ International Training Conference and Career Fair in Miami, FL is this Saturday, March 31.

The conference will run from July 18-21 at the InterContintental Miami. You don’t have to be of Hispanic heritage to attend this conference! If you support the mission of people of color in journalism, then that’s enough reason to go and support NAHJ.
