AAJA SF awards grants to help members cover the cost of the AAJA National Convention, the Executive Leadership Program, the Unity Convention and for professional development.
This year, we are awarding seven grants of $400 each to members attending the 2011 AAJA National Convention from Aug. 10-13, 2011 in Detroit. Workshops will center on digital training, multimedia and social media, and attendees will have a chance to connect with journalism’s top leaders and cutting-edge thinkers as they learn new skills to take control of their careers. The application period for these grants closed on May 23, 2011, and we have selected our seven recipients.
